Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Premier Carlsbad Concrete, carlsbadconcrete.com, team@carlsbadconcrete.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire Premier Carlsbad Concrete, a concrete contractor in Carlsbad, CA, for work at your property. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to them.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us. When a signed written contract for your job says something different from these terms, the contract controls for that job.

What we do

We pour and repair concrete for homes and properties. That includes flatwork such as driveways, patios, sidewalks and pool decks, along with steps, retaining walls, footings, foundations, garage floors, decorative and stamped finishes, foundation raising and concrete cutting. You can see the full list of services on our home page and read more about how our crew works on our About page.

What this site says about a service is general. The scope, materials, thickness and finish for your own job are whatever your written estimate or contract says.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, done on site, and come with no obligation. Any price talked about on this website is general information and not an offer.

An estimate is based on what we can see and measure before the job starts. The price can change if we find something we couldn't see once the old concrete is out, such as soft or wet subgrade, which is the soil the slab sits on, buried debris, roots or unmarked lines. It can also change if you change the scope. We'll tell you before doing any extra work, and we'll get your approval in writing for any added cost.

An estimate is good for the period written on it. Material prices move, so after that period we may need to quote the job again.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We set the work dates with you. Concrete depends on the weather, so we may move a pour for rain, strong wind or extreme heat, because pouring in the wrong conditions gives you a weaker slab. Delays caused by weather, material supply, inspections or anything else outside our control aren't a breach of these terms or your contract.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (442) 216-7701 or reach us through our Contact page as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered materials, set forms or started work, you may owe for the materials and labor already spent, as your contract sets out.

Your part of the job

You agree to give our crew safe, clear access to the work area and to tell us about private lines we can't see, such as sprinkler pipes, low-voltage lighting or drain lines. Public utilities are marked before we dig, but private lines on your property are yours to point out.

Your contract will say who is responsible for any permit the job needs. Approval from a homeowners association or anyone else with a say over your property is your responsibility unless your contract says otherwise.

Payment

Any deposit, the payment schedule and the final amount are written in your contract. Final payment is due when the work described in your contract is complete.

If a payment is late, we may charge any late fee your contract allows and use the remedies California law gives contractors to collect what's owed.

Warranty and what it doesn't cover

We stand behind our work, and we want you satisfied with it. The warranty for your job is the one written in your contract, and that written warranty is the only one we give.

Concrete can get hairline cracks even when it's built right, because it shrinks as it cures and moves a little with the ground. Control joints, the grooves we cut into the slab, are there so it cracks along a line we chose. Small cracks in or near joints, slight color differences and normal surface wear aren't defects.

New concrete needs time to cure, the wait while it gains strength, before you walk or drive on it, and we'll tell you when it's ready. Our warranty doesn't cover damage from using the slab before then, from loads heavier than it was built for, from harsh chemicals, from roots, water or soil movement after we finish, from drainage changes made by others, or from work done by anyone else.

Apart from your written warranty, and to the extent the law allows, our services and this website are provided "as is" and we disclaim any implied warranties.

Information on this website

What you read on this site is general information about concrete work. It isn't engineering, legal or permit advice for your property, so check anything that matters to your plans with us at the estimate or with the office that oversees it.

Links to other websites are there for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what they say.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Premier Carlsbad Concrete isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as lost use of your property or lost income, arising from our work or from this website.

Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that California law doesn't allow us to limit, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Working out a disagreement

If something isn't right, call us first. Most problems get settled by standing on the slab together and talking it through, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.

If we can't settle it that way within 30 days, either of us may suggest mediation before going further. If it still isn't resolved, it will be heard in the state or federal courts serving San Diego County, California, or in small claims court where the amount qualifies.

Governing law

These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would point to another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies to your use of the site. A change won't alter a contract you've already signed with us.
