You deal with me throughout
I come out for the estimate and I'm on site running our crew through the last pour, so nothing you told me gets lost between the price and the work.
We're a concrete contractor based in Carlsbad, CA, and since 2021 we've built driveways, patios, walls and foundations for homeowners here and in the cities around it.

I learned concrete working on crews when I was young, then spent years away from the trade before I came back to the work I missed. I started Premier Carlsbad Concrete here in 2021, and we take on the full range of work you'll find on our home page, from a short run of steps to a slab foundation.
When I came back, I told myself I'd run jobs the way I always wished the ones I worked on had been run. Concrete is hard to undo once it's poured, so I'd rather spend an extra hour planning than rush a pour. Most of that hour goes into what you won't see on day one, the subgrade, which is the dirt and packed base the slab sits on. When a budget gets tight, the base is usually the first thing people want to trim, and I'll talk you out of that, because a good-looking surface on a base that was only raked level will settle and crack right along with the dirt under it.
We're licensed and insured. In California, anyone who contracts for work that needs a building permit, or for work worth $1,000 or more in labor and materials together, has to hold a license from the state contractor board, so it's a fair thing to ask anyone you're comparing. The city also requires every business working inside its limits to carry a Carlsbad business license, contractors from other cities included.

Ask as many questions as you like, even the same one twice. We'll answer in plain words before you sign anything, so you know what you're paying for before we start.
Your written estimate spells out what's included and what isn't, like removing the old concrete, so you can line it up fairly against the other quotes you get.
Call (442) 216-7701 or use our contact form and tell us what you've got, a cracked driveway, a patio that's sinking, water pooling by the house. We'll reply within one business day to set up a visit.
I look at the slab, what it sits on and where the water runs, then answer your questions on the spot. The estimate is free, done on site and comes with no obligation.
Our own crew does the work, and I run it on site. When the city requires a building permit, we file it, book the city inspections and keep you posted on each step.
We're based in Carlsbad, and the cities below each have their own page here. They're not the only cities we work in, so if yours isn't listed, call or use the contact form to ask.
